About the event
We will explore the techniques available to us to style our bonsai and look at how to incorporate our bonsai botanical/horticultural needs and artistic goals and achieve harmony between the two. This module deals with the pruning of bonsai species, and we explore common broadleaf and conifer species and how their pruning requirements differ from type to type and season to season.
Hands-on work begins by mid-morning when we concentrate on the pruning requirements of common bonsai species.
